## Description

The International Human Duties Initiative, spearheaded by Junior Chamber International (JCI), is a pioneering movement that advocates for the integration of human duties alongside human rights in global leadership. Launched in 2022, it is centered around the Universal Declaration of Human Duties for Leaders, which outlines seven key principles aimed at fostering ethical leadership, civic responsibility, and sustainable development. The Initiative aims to raise awareness and empower leaders to embrace these duties, promoting a culture of collective responsibility that resonates across sectors.

The Initiative's mission includes mobilizing signatures for the recognition of International Human Duties Day (IHDD) on July 10, which celebrates the shared responsibilities of leaders and citizens alike. With over 60,000 signatures already gathered, it has led to notable accomplishments, including national law changes and various community-driven events. By engaging in activities like workshops and policy advocacy, JCI further emphasizes the critical role of human duties in achieving global progress and nurturing a compassionate, sustainable world.
