InternetNZ | Ipurangi Aotearoa is a not-for-profit organization and the home of the .nz domain. Our mission is to create a safe and accessible Internet for all New Zealanders. As the guardian of the .nz domain, we ensure that all domain names ending with .nz are available for individuals and businesses in Aotearoa to thrive online. We are not government-funded; instead, the money we receive from .nz domain names goes back into the community. We provide grants, fund other organizations, and advocate for an Internet that benefits everyone in Aotearoa. As a member organization, you can join us to stay informed, participate in decision-making, stand for Council, and vote in elections. Our values include having each other's back, being constantly curious, recognizing that everyone has a part to play, and walking the talk with openness and transparency. Together, we are building an Internet that benefits all of Aotearoa for future generations.
