## Description

InteRussia is a fellowship programme for international specialists seeking professional development and stronger cooperation with Russian and global counterparts. It welcomes non-Russian applicants aged 21 to 40 and offers placements lasting four to six weeks, depending on the field. Fellowships take place at major Russian research centres, leading educational institutions, international businesses, corporations and media outlets. Organisers cover participants’ travel to the fellowship venue and accommodation, and provide a scholarship for the fellowship period.

The programme spans international relations, journalism, Russian studies, medicine, energy, engineering and theatre. Through its placements, participants can explore Russia’s scientific and expert agenda, learn about professional practices in research, culture, technology and medicine, and exchange experience with peers from around the world. Fellows may also contribute to projects run by leading think tanks, universities and community-based organisations.

Applications are submitted through the Gorchakov Fund’s website, a programme partner. Selection is competitive and considers candidates’ professional experience, with assessment including an online interview and review without the candidate present.
