## Description

The International Police Summit (IPS) 2023, hosted by the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) in Seoul, marks a significant global event that brings together leaders from police agencies worldwide. Since its inception in 2015, the Summit has evolved from fostering bilateral cooperation to addressing contemporary challenges in international policing. Previous summits have seen participation grow from 17 countries in the first event to 37 nations in 2021, showcasing its expanding influence and importance.

The upcoming fourth summit, set for October 2023, aims to address policing strategies in the post-COVID era, providing a platform for ministers and commissioners to discuss uncertainties and digital transformations affecting law enforcement. Attendees will have the opportunity to network, share innovative strategies, and engage with Korea's rich culture. The event will feature a series of meetings, discussions, and cultural excursions, culminating in a farewell dinner, with the goal of establishing a collaborative approach to future policing challenges and enhancing partnerships among global law enforcement organizations.
