## Description

Investing in Women is a transformative initiative funded by the Australian Government, focused on promoting women's economic empowerment across Southeast Asia. Established in 2016, it aims to tackle gender inequality by collaborating with business leaders, policymakers, and investors to eliminate barriers to women's full participation in the economy. Working extensively in Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam, Investing in Women strives to create sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

The initiative supports key areas such as workplace gender equality, enabling policy reforms, and gender lens investing. It has successfully formed business coalitions that advocate for equitable workplace practices and has facilitated significant investments to help bridge the finance gap for women entrepreneurs. Through targeted advocacy campaigns, it has reached over 350 million people, highlighting the importance of women in economic development. Investing in Women empowers women to thrive as employees and entrepreneurs, thus contributing to stronger economies and more equitable societies.
