## Description

IOCA South is a regional resource for Optimist sailing, covering activity from Chichester Harbour to Poole Harbour, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands. Its website welcomes sailors, families and clubs looking for information about the Optimist class and local sailing opportunities. Visitors can find guidance on choosing a fleet, details about training, and notices about upcoming events. The site also publishes series information and race results, with archived results for Regatta Main and Regatta Fleet from several seasons.

A central feature is the Optimist Rooster Southern Series, which brings together open events hosted by sailing clubs across the region. The listed venues include Burghfield, HISC, Royal Lymington, Warsash, Spinnaker, Bosham, Parkstone and Chichester Yacht Club. The programme includes Optimist opens and, at Bosham, RYA RTG selection training. Event dates and links direct users to the host clubs for further details. IOCA South also invites other clubs to ask about inclusion in the series, supporting coordination and participation across the regional Optimist sailing community.
