## Description

IOGKF Denmark is a democratic association of Danish clubs dedicated to Okinawan Goju-Ryu karate. As part of the International Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate-do Federation, it supports practitioners and dojos through training, education, events, and information about the style. The organisation’s activities include Gasshuku, Yudansha training for advanced grades, dan and kyu gradings, and competitions. Its website shares event details, registration information, competition results, and news, while helping visitors find a local dojo. It also provides resources on Goju-Ryu, including explanations of belt grades, grading requirements, dojo etiquette, kata, bunkai, Japanese terminology, and karate-related writing. Training sessions are led by experienced instructors, including Denmark’s chief instructor, Sensei Henrik Larsen, who holds 8th dan. IOGKF Denmark directs visitors to karatedragt.dk, a webshop offering training equipment. Through its clubs, learning resources, and organised events, the association connects karate practitioners across Denmark and promotes continued development in Okinawan Goju-Ryu.
