## Description

Io Non Mollo – Amici di Paolo is a volunteer association based in Martano, in Italy’s Lecce province, supporting people affected by cancer and their families. Founded by people with direct or indirect experience of the disease, the organization draws on shared understanding, practical help, and a strong belief that no one should face the journey alone. Its central service is free psychological support for oncology patients and family members, provided by qualified psychologists registered with the professional board. The association also helps patients identify specialist healthcare facilities, with guidance from doctors and oncologists, and offers support along the way to diagnosis and treatment. Volunteers share their experience and coordinate assistance from experts and young professionals. Io Non Mollo organizes community events and fundraising initiatives to support its work, raise awareness of prevention and healthy lifestyles, and bring encouragement to people experiencing illness. Through donations and the 5×1000 tax contribution, supporters can help sustain its activities.
