Iowa Public Radio (IPR) is a public media organization serving Iowans with trusted news, music, arts, culture and podcasts. Its reporting covers local and state issues, including elections, health, education, the environment, agriculture and Iowa politics, alongside Midwest and national news from NPR and other partners. IPR provides election guides, candidate coverage, voting information and regular updates from communities across the state.

Listeners can tune in to IPR News, IPR Classical and IPR Studio One through live radio streams, local stations, the IPR app and smart devices. Music offerings include classical programming, Studio One’s mix of music and playlists, and coverage of Iowa’s music scene. The organization also produces and presents programs and podcasts such as River to River, Talk of Iowa, Here First, Garden Variety and Unsettled, along with arts and culture features on books, performing arts, film, food and more.

Iowa Public Radio connects audiences through newsletters, events and travel opportunities, and invites community support through donations, memberships, sponsorships and planned gifts.
