Iowa Valley Habitat

Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization located in Southeast Iowa, dedicated to building and improving quality homes. Working alongside homeowners, they create safe shelters and strive to make housing affordable for all. One of their initiatives, the Iowa City Restore, offers affordable construction and home goods donated by generous individuals and businesses.

By partnering with local individuals, businesses, and community organizations, Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity makes a long-term investment in the community, impacting residents in Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, and Washington counties. Through the generosity of volunteers who contribute thousands of hours each year, the organization has been able to build ramps for people with disabilities and make safety improvements to existing homes. By bringing together determined volunteers and generous donors, they provide families with strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

With over 150 homes built and renovated locally and donations made to Habitat for Humanity International, the impact of Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity extends globally as well.
