About
Description
The Irish Pastoral Centre (IPC) in Boston has been dedicated to assisting Irish immigrants and facilitating their positive transition to life in America since 1987. Founded in response to a large increase in Irish immigrants in the Greater Boston area, the IPC offers a comprehensive range of caring and culturally appropriate services for all ages. These services include spiritual support, family assistance, social integration, legal aid, wellness programs, and educational resources.
In response to the pandemic, the IPC has expanded its services to include counseling and sobriety support. Located in the heart of Dorchester in Adams Village, the IPC is guided by the Christian principle of providing help to the stranger among us. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the IPC is funded in part by the Irish government and relies on donations from the Irish and Irish American community.
