## Description

IP Guitars is an independent guitar-making brand based in Helsinki, Finland, founded by luthier Tommi Kokko. With more than a decade of industry experience, Kokko creates handmade instruments for players seeking a personal, custom-built guitar. The work is guided by three principles: sustainability, responsibility, and reliability. Woods are carefully sourced, with a main focus on domestic species, and customers are invited to collaborate on the design and specifications of their instrument.

The range includes the Daedalus, Icarus, GoreOver, and Ariadne models, with instruments such as an eight-string Icarus also featured. IP Guitars offers limited custom-build slots, allowing players to discuss and develop their preferred instrument directly with the maker. The website also presents stock guitars for purchase through its shop, alongside branded T-shirts and demo pricing. Kokko emphasizes craftsmanship, thoughtful material selection, clear communication, and a commitment to meeting customer expectations. Based in Helsinki’s Herttoniemi area, IP Guitars serves musicians looking for individually tailored instruments made with care and a considered approach to materials.
