## Description

The Independent Publisher Book Awards, established in 1996, celebrate the outstanding work of independent authors and publishers across the globe. Open to all members of the independent publishing industry, the awards are a platform for recognizing creativity, innovation, and the significant impact of independent titles. Each year, thousands of entries showcase the quality and diversity of literature, with the awards honoring exemplary works in various categories including national subjects, regional distinctions, and e-books.

Awards are conferred in gold, silver, and bronze for each category, providing winners with enhanced recognition, credibility, and potential sales growth. The recognition of these independent works not only elevates the status of small press and self-published books but also reflects the transformation of the publishing landscape, where such titles are increasingly celebrated for their quality. The IPPY Awards foster a community of passionate creators, reinforcing the value of independent publishing and its vital role in the literary world.
