With roots dating back to 1923, the brand brings together five fruit-processing businesses under one name: Bayernwald, Iprona, TrentoFrutta, Beerenfrost and Vulcolor, united as iprona from January 2024. Its five production sites are located in Germany, Italy and Austria.

The company develops and produces juices, purées, concentrates, powders and infusions, as well as natural colouring foods, beverage bases, extracts, oils and craft ingredients. It also creates individual ingredient solutions for beverages, food supplements and health products. Customers can access pressing, bottling, co-packing, warehousing and related services.
