The Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) is Ireland's leading non-governmental organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of individuals in prison and pushing for progressive reforms in Irish penal policy. Established in 1994, IPRT serves as an independent voice in public discourse on the Irish penal system. At IPRT, our objective is to reduce the use of imprisonment and prioritize the rights of all individuals within the penal system.
