## Description

Founded in 2022 by ecologist and nature manager Bjørn Vikøyr, the company works with landowners, businesses, organisations, schools and municipalities to protect, restore and develop biodiversity, ecosystems and the values of local landscapes. Its approach combines ecological knowledge, practical experience, historical understanding and collaboration with local communities.

iRikNatur’s services include surveying and analysing natural and cultural assets, landscape conditions, ecosystem services, land-use history and local knowledge. The company develops practical plans for habitat management and restoration, including work in meadows, wetlands and streams, and helps coordinate and implement conservation activities. It also engages students and volunteers in fieldwork, supports research and learning in projects, and provides guiding and public communication about species, habitats and landscape history.

Drawing on decades of experience in nature management and public administration, Vikøyr helps stakeholders find ways for sustainable use, local value creation and conservation to work together.
