Welcome to the Iron County Museum! Located in Caspian, Michigan, the Iron County Museum is a renowned outdoor museum complex. With 25 buildings and over 100 exhibits, including two art galleries, it offers a fascinating journey into the region's history. As the designated Log Cabin Capital of Michigan, this museum boasts more historic log structures than any other place in the state.


Some of the must-see exhibits include the Carrie Jacobs-Bond House, Stager Depot, St. Mary's Church, Toti's Tavern, Pioneer School House, Giovanelli Studio and Gallery, and the Lee LeBlanc Memorial Art Gallery. The museum is open from May to October, while the business office, gift shop, and archives are open year-round.
