## Description

Ironhorse Event is a volunteer association based on Funen, Denmark, creating cycling activities and events for riders of different abilities and backgrounds. Its aim is to make cycling more accessible, with an emphasis on community, quality and inclusion. Licensed riders, recreational cyclists, women and para-cyclists are all welcomed.

The association’s featured event is Ironhorse Derby, a road cycling ride in Bellinge with 50 km and 100 km route options. Start groups include Ironhorse Open for men and women, Ironhorse Ladies for women, and Ironhorse Para for para-cyclists using any type of bike. Both routes include a “Bagerstop” bakery refreshment stop.

The event’s Ryttergården gathering area, located in front of Borregaard Cykler, serves as the start and finish hub. Riders can collect their numbers, get a quick service check, and enjoy post-ride food, community activities, exhibitors, medals and prize draws. Available services include race preparation and bicycle washing. Ironhorse Event also offers annual memberships, member events and discounts, while supporting para-riders and young talents through the Ironhorse Fund.
