## Description

Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) is a creative products brand founded by sisters Josie Celio and Sally Griswold, whose early love of vintage finds and do-it-yourself projects grew from visits to thrift stores and roadside salvage spots. The name Iron Orchid reflects the strength and delicate vulnerability the sisters associate with women, and their belief that women are uniquely created to create. IOD aims to inspire, empower, and encourage makers through distinctive tools and products designed for creative projects.

The company describes its range as products for upcyclers and makers, with categories including moulds, paint, inlays, stamps, transfers, ink, gilded transfers, and accessories. Its collections support decorating and transforming objects, while its blog provides tutorials and creative inspiration. IOD sells business-to-business and directs shoppers to independent stockists; retailers can apply to become stockists. The brand also shares updates and creative inspiration through its newsletter and social channels. Its stated commitments include developing innovative tools, designing timeless products, and fostering community connections that encourage a creative lifestyle.
