## Description

The Ice Skating Association of Ireland (ISAI) is the national organisation presented as the home of ice skating in Ireland. Incorporated in 2007, it is managed by an elected Board of Directors and supports both figure skating and speed skating. The association shares news, competition results, regulations and information about upcoming events through its website, which it identifies as its channel for official communications.

ISAI provides information and resources for skaters and members, including rules and regulations that members are required to follow, membership criteria, forms and contact details. Its Learn to Skate offering includes the Emerald Skate programme, with information for participants and details of learning pathways. The website also features test information, national team and coaching sections for figure skating and speed skating, as well as children’s safeguarding and member data protection information. Membership is open to individuals who meet the association’s stated criteria. Through these activities and resources, ISAI connects Ireland’s skating community and supports participation, development and competition across the sport.
