## Description

Isamikan is a traditional hot spring inn in Nakagawa, Tochigi Prefecture, set beside the Naka River amid peaceful natural scenery. Built with beams and other materials relocated from a farmhouse more than 150 years old, the inn combines historic Japanese character with welcoming spaces designed for a restful stay. Its guest rooms overlook the river, where the sound of flowing water and views of the surrounding landscape create a calm retreat.

Guests can enjoy the celebrated waters of Bato Onsen, known locally as the “beauty bath,” including views of the river and evening sunsets. The inn serves regional cuisine prepared with seasonal local ingredients, such as river fish, mountain vegetables, and organic produce; selected meal plans also feature Tochigi wagyu or local horse sashimi. An irori hearth, herbal drinks, and attentive hospitality add to the homelike atmosphere.

Isamikan offers accommodation plans for couples, families, and other travelers, with online reservations and a five-percent discount on all plans booked through its official website.
