ISEA, or the Iowa State Education Association, is an organization that represents education professionals in Iowa's cities, suburbs, and towns. They believe that strong public schools are the foundation of a strong community. As a state affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA), ISEA brings together the expertise, drive, and dedication of 3 million educators and allies to advance justice and excellence in public education.

ISEA's members include classroom teachers, licensed professional staff, school support staff workers, retired teachers, community college faculty, and future teachers. They work together to ensure that Iowa's 500,000 public school students receive nothing short of the best education possible. With elected delegates and strong leadership, ISEA makes sure that the voice of its members is heard and their needs are addressed.
