## Description

Island Neuropsychology, LLC provides comprehensive neuropsychological services for children, adolescents, and young adults in Sullivan’s Island and the Charleston County area. Led by pediatric neuropsychologist Dr. Bodzy, the practice conducts evaluations designed to understand how brain functioning relates to a child’s learning, behavior, emotions, and development. Assessments may examine intellectual abilities, language, motor skills, memory, attention, executive functioning, social-emotional functioning, personality, behavior, psychiatric concerns, and academic skills. Services include neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and autism evaluations, as well as Independent Educational Evaluations. The practice assesses concerns such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, developmental and language differences, psychiatric conditions, concussions and mild traumatic brain injury, seizures, and other medical or motor concerns. Autism evaluations include attention to masking and presentations that may be easily missed, and the practice also offers transition-to-adulthood planning and gifted testing. Following an evaluation, Island Neuropsychology works with families to develop a comprehensive plan with recommendations and interventions to help each child or young person pursue well-being and reach their potential.
