Indian School Muscat (ISM) is the largest co-educational institution in the Gulf, with a rich history and a commitment to academic excellence. Established in 1975 with just 135 students, ISM has grown steadily over the years, thanks to the benevolence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, who granted the school land in Darsait. Today, ISM educates over 9200 students, offering a comprehensive curriculum in Science, Commerce, and Humanities.

The school also emphasizes life education through various extracurricular activities such as sports, Scouts and Guides, excursions, adventure camps, and more. ISM provides students with opportunities for international student exchange programs, as well as the chance to interact with eminent personalities through debates, quizzes, and other enriching activities. As the flagship school, ISM also supports other Indian Schools in Oman, playing a crucial role in their formation.
