## Description

The International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) is a non-governmental organization that promotes international cooperation and advances photogrammetry, remote sensing, and spatial information sciences. It brings together individual and organizational members, including national societies and institutions, through commissions, working groups, congresses, symposia, and other geospatial events. The Society supports research and education through scientific and educational initiatives, keynote programmes, webinars, summer schools, and funding opportunities for projects that benefit the global geospatial community.

ISPRS shares knowledge through a broad range of publications, including the ISPRS Annals, Archives, journals, eBulletin, book series, and conference proceedings. Its open resources include datasets, benchmarks, papers, reports, presentations, tutorials, and software materials. The organization also maintains calendars, job listings, historical archives, and links to related journals and organizations. It recognizes contributions to the field through awards, medals, and honours, and supports professional development with grants and student-focused opportunities. Through these activities, ISPRS connects researchers and practitioners and helps circulate scientific knowledge and resources worldwide.
