## Description

ISREC BG, the Bergamo Institute for the History of the Resistance and the Contemporary Age, is a cultural and educational organisation dedicated to collecting, preserving and promoting documentation on antifascism, the Resistance and contemporary history. Its work helps make historical sources accessible and encourages public engagement with the events and experiences that have shaped modern society.

The institute offers access to archives and a library, and publishes the journal Il filo di Arianna. For schools, it provides educational resources and activities for early childhood and primary education, lower and upper secondary schools, as well as study visits. Its programmes include projects, workshops and proposals for deeper historical study.

ISREC BG also organises exhibitions, installations, commemorations, public presentations and other initiatives. Its recurring Cinema e Storia course uses films and media as starting points for exploring contemporary history. Through these services and events, the institute supports historical learning and remembrance in Bergamo, connecting research, education and community life.
