## Description

ISTANBUL’74 is a pioneering arts and culture platform in Turkey that forges artistic and cultural relationships, fostering creative multidisciplinary dialogues. Founded in 2009 by Demet Müftüoğlu-Eşeli and filmmaker Alphan Eşeli, the brand aims to bring together Istanbul and the global cultural scene. Their flagship event, the ISTANBUL INTERNATIONAL ARTS & CULTURE FESTIVAL (IST. FESTIVAL), is a dynamic multidisciplinary program featuring talks, exhibitions, screenings, performances, and workshops. This festival has welcomed renowned figures from the arts and design world, including Gore Vidal, Zaha Hadid, Tilda Swinton, and more. ISTANBUL’74 collaborates with leading art institutions to curate exhibitions and public installations worldwide. Their roster of established contemporary artists includes Tracey Emin, Anton Corbijn, and José Parlá. The brand's expansion led to the launch of ‘74STUDIO, a full-service creative studio specializing in branding, communications, and community building. They also established ‘74ESCAPE, a community-based platform that champions curiosity and craftsmanship, showcasing handmade ceramics, sustainable designs, and local crafts from Turkey. As an independent multidisciplinary platform, ISTANBUL’74 pushes boundaries and creates new connections in the creative and cultural realms, utilizing their vast network of industry leaders and influential artists.
