Its mission is to preserve and renew intellectual traditions while making knowledge more accessible. The institution supports research and scholarly exchange through academic activities, events, training initiatives, publications, and awards and scholarships. Its programme includes public events and study meetings, while its publications document research and the academy’s work; selected titles are available in print and open access. The Istituto’s archive and library are central to its activities. Alongside its own archive, built up over more than two centuries, it preserves around eighty personal collections donated by former members and associates. Visitors can consult its library and archive resources through the online catalogue. The academy operates from Palazzo Landriani, which houses its offices, library, and archive, and holds meetings at its historic location in Palazzo Brera. Through these resources and programmes, the Istituto Lombardo connects its long-standing scholarly heritage with opportunities for contemporary research, learning, and cultural participation. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/istitutolombardo) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/istitutolombardo) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCMKIKk-Ty9dq01o1DVYWryg) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idJTo7M0sO/w/232/h/232/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793750176868) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idJTo7M0sO/w/2048/h/2048/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793750177268) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tawny Port | #752345 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #2a2a2a | dark | | Athens Gray | #f3f4f6 | light | ## Fonts - var(--font-sans) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
