## Description

Italian Day on The Drive is Vancouver’s largest cultural street festival, celebrated in the heart of the city’s historic Little Italy. Since its revival in 2010, the festival has become a vibrant celebration of Italian-Canadian heritage, fostering community spirit and cultural appreciation. The theme for 2024, "STORIA," emphasizes the importance of history and storytelling in connecting generations and preserving traditions.

Organized by the Italian Day Festival Society, this annual event showcases an array of attractions, including performances, art exhibitions, and culinary delights from local Italian restaurants and vendors. Beyond the festivities, the society actively contributes to community welfare, supporting initiatives for at-risk youth and mental health programs.

Italian Day has not only revitalized interest in Vancouver’s Italian heritage but has also garnered numerous accolades, including the ‘Best of Vancouver’ in the Festival category. As part of Italian Heritage Month, it stands as the pinnacle event celebrating the contributions of Italian Canadians, making it a significant cultural touchstone in the city.
