## Description

Italian Movie Award is an Italian film and audiovisual organization dedicated to promoting Italian creative work abroad and developing new talent. Its activities span three main areas: the Italian Movie Award, the Italian Media Academy, and audiovisual production. The award recognizes Italian works and achievements with an international presence, including feature films, documentaries, short films, television series, and locations. Its program includes nominations, screenings, and award ceremonies, and the organization also presents honors for performers and other contributors to cinema.

The Italian Media Academy focuses on training emerging Italian talent for the audiovisual sector, while the production arm creates audiovisual and cross-media projects. The organization also shares video content and event coverage through its website and media partnerships. Its fifteenth edition is planned for December 2026 at The Paley Center for Media in Manhattan, under the theme “Reborn: Humanity Changes, Earth Rises Again.” The event is scheduled to feature nominated Italian works and a ceremony in New York, continuing the award’s focus on bringing Italian cinema to audiences abroad.
