## Description

Itamar Yehiel is a Berlin-based sculptural embroidery artist whose work transforms thread into three-dimensional forms. Combining hand embroidery and sewing-machine techniques, Yehiel builds sculptures from a two-dimensional material, paying close attention to texture, colour, and detail. Nature is a central source of inspiration, alongside ideas encountered through travel and engagement with different cultures, crafts, and ways of life. The artworks explore identity, crisis, hope, time, and the beauty of imperfection, bringing philosophical and emotional themes into tactile forms.

Yehiel’s portfolio includes works and collections such as Footprints, Leaves, and Pebble, as well as Hope, a framed piece made with polyester thread and gold. Inspired by the olive branch and the Japanese art of Kintsugi, Hope reflects on repair as part of an object’s history. The artist offers works for collectors and welcomes inquiries about available pieces, commissions, exhibitions, and studio visits. Yehiel’s work is also presented through exhibitions and art fairs, including events in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.
