## Description

Itä-Puulan–Korpijärven Osakaskunta is a Finnish fisheries association responsible for organizing fishing and managing fish stocks across the waters of Itä-Puula and Korpijärvi. Its work focuses on sustainable, selective fishing, the responsible use of fish populations, and fair treatment of different fishing methods. The association aims to improve the productivity of fish stocking and support healthy, attractive fisheries. Its activities include stocking the waters with species such as zander, vendace, lake trout and landlocked salmon, alongside longer-term efforts to strengthen natural zander reproduction and increase the size of certain sport fish. It also provides fishing permits and information about permit sales, fishing rules and restrictions. Anglers can find area and depth maps, details of restricted and protected zones, guidance on marking fishing gear, and catch-recording forms on the association’s website. The site also shares meeting records, management plans, regulations and current notices, including information about mandatory catch reporting. Through these resources and management measures, the association supports informed fishing and the long-term care of local waters.
