## Description

ITAVI is a French expert organisation serving the poultry, rabbit and fish farming sectors. Working at the interface between fundamental research and on-the-ground practice, it supports development and progress across these industries through expertise, research and knowledge-sharing. Its areas of work include economics, animal welfare and health, the environment, and production systems.

ITAVI provides tailored studies and research to help meet the needs of sector participants, alongside training for farmers and businesses and opportunities to share experience. It also organises research days, technical and scientific events, and other sector gatherings. Its website offers a broad resource library, with nearly 3,000 publications and materials, including notes, articles, studies, audits and videos. Topics range from feeding and farming techniques to buildings, energy, product quality, sustainability, genetics and animal health. The institute also publishes sector figures, indices and indicators, and provides thematic alerts and digital tools, including the EBENE application.

Through membership, individuals and organisations can connect with the sector community and access services and resources, some of which are reserved for members.
