## Description

Kinderopvang Heerenveen Thuishuis It Bernetreintsje is a small, professional childcare centre in Heerenveen for children aged 0 to 4. Located at Stationsplein 30, it offers care in a welcoming, home-like setting, with a maximum group size of ten and consistent care from trained staff Jitske Dijkstra and Tiny Mud-Dijkstra. The centre is certified to provide bilingual childcare, introducing children to both Frisian and Dutch during their early years. Supporting each child’s development is central to its approach. Children can take part in activities throughout the day, including play, painting, singing, outings, time in the woods, and early experiences with numbers and language. The centre also encourages personal relationships with families through regular communication, including monthly newsletters, and gives parents and guardians the opportunity to contribute through a parent council. It operates Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The website states that Thuishuis It Bernetreintsje will cease operations on 31 July 2026.
