## Description

The Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches Association (ITCCCA) is dedicated to fostering growth and excellence in the track and cross-country community throughout Illinois. This organization promotes enthusiasm among coaches and athletes by offering educational opportunities and resources aimed at enhancing coaching methodologies. ITCCCA recognizes and honors the achievements of athletes and coaches through various awards, including the Coach of the Year and Athlete of the Year awards, as well as the Distinguished Service and Middle School Coach awards.

In addition to its emphasis on recognition, ITCCCA actively encourages involvement in its annual clinic, where coaches can engage with notable speakers from the collegiate level. The next clinic will take place on January 10-11, 2025, at Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, featuring valuable sessions to enhance coaching skills. ITCCCA serves as a vital advocate for the track and cross-country community, ensuring the voices of schools, coaches, and athletes are heard in decision-making processes, in collaboration with the Illinois High School Association (IHSA).
