## Description

Ithaca Wrestling Club (IWC) is a community wrestling organization that helps young athletes learn the sport, improve their skills, and grow in a positive, supportive environment. Its youth program introduces children to wrestling fundamentals while encouraging confidence, discipline, friendship, and life skills. The club also offers pre-season practices for middle and high school wrestlers, including modified, junior varsity, and varsity athletes. Sessions with Coach Antoine are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4 p.m. in the Ithaca High School wrestling room. Additional activities include spring clinics, a girls’ wrestling tournament, and events for local wrestlers. IWC supports athletes’ development beyond regular practices, including helping Ithaca High School wrestlers attend high-level camps and train with other wrestling clubs. The organization also provides calendars, galleries, registration information, and an IWC store through its website, and invites community members to donate. With a focus on learning, improvement, and belonging, Ithaca Wrestling Club aims to build both wrestling ability and character among local youth.
