## Description

Cutthroat Grip & Lighting is a production rental house based in Salt Lake City, Utah, serving local and out-of-town film, video, and photo productions across the Mountain West. The company combines equipment rentals, production support, and crew services, with gear, crew, and prep coordinated through one quote and invoice. Its inventory includes Aputure-led modern LED lighting, deep grip equipment, and Profoto stills gear, with specialty items such as LiteMat and ARRI equipment available through its network.

Rentals are organized around production needs. The 1-ton grip package is designed for many short jobs and includes a gaffer or key grip; the 3-ton package supports larger lighting loads and more substantial productions. For photography, Cutthroat builds custom kits with strobes, modifiers, scrims, and flats for brand, fashion, e-commerce, and editorial shoots. The company also provides crew, specialty-day rentals, add-on units, and hybrid film and photo setups. Based about 12 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, it can transport equipment and crew to shoots throughout the West.
