The Irish Universities Association (IUA), also known as The Voice of Irish Universities, is a company limited by guarantee, working collectively to represent, support and advocate for its member universities. The association comprises of the following universities: Dublin City University, Maynooth University, Trinity College Dublin, Technological University Dublin, University College Cork, University College Dublin, University of Galway, and University of Limerick. The IUA plays a pivotal role in developing sectoral policies and strategies, providing shared services in researcher mobility, engagement, access, and internationalization, and advocating on behalf of the universities to maximize the contribution of higher education to society and the economy.

Committed to delivering a sustainable university system, the IUA's six-point charter, Ireland's Future Talent, aims to transform capability and performance across key criteria. The association operates through a strong governance structure and collaborates with various committees, sub-committees, and working groups to enhance resource efficiency. Its core funding is provided by member universities, while project funding is received from the European Commission, the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, and the Higher Education Authority.
