## Description

International Veterinary Seminars (IVS) helps veterinary professionals earn continuing education credits through expert-led seminars in destinations around the world. Its small-group programs combine practical, real-world clinical learning with time to experience each location, offering an alternative to traditional conference-style education. Seminars cover a broad range of veterinary topics, including internal medicine, anesthesia, behavior, cardiology, dermatology, emergency care, surgery, and feline medicine.

Each seminar provides 12–18 CE credit hours and includes focused half-day sessions, speaker notes, and a downloadable certificate through IVS’s client portal. IVS is an AAVSB RACE-approved provider, with credits accepted by state boards in the United States and Canada. Programs are designed for licensed veterinarians and veterinary professionals; some trips also welcome non-veterinarian companions.

With more than 50 destinations across the globe, IVS offers classroom and adventure seminars, including select experiences developed with Bio Bio Expeditions. Participants can also use a loyalty and referral program to earn points toward future seminars. Through its combination of education, travel, and professional connection, IVS makes continuing education an engaging shared experience.
