## Description

Ivy’s Wish Sanctuary, formerly Wishing Well Sanctuary, is a nonprofit animal sanctuary in Markdale, Ontario, Canada. It provides a safe, compassionate home for abused and neglected farm animals, giving them a second chance at life and ensuring they receive care, food, and medical support. The organization also works to encourage kindness, respect, and responsibility toward animals and the environment through humane education and programs focused on responsible stewardship.

Alongside its animal care mission, Ivy’s Wish supports the mental health and well-being of children, youth, families, and caregivers. It also aims to serve people affected by trauma, addiction, and other challenges, offering courses, seminars, and workshops. The sanctuary invites visitors to learn about its animals and take part in experiences and special events. Its website also lists weddings and overnight stays among its offerings. Donations and animal sponsorships help fund the sanctuary’s work, while community support helps sustain care for the animals and the programs that connect people with the sanctuary’s mission.
