## Description

Brand: 上越タイムス社

上越タイムス社 is a local daily newspaper that covers the entire Sanjo region, tailored to the unique characteristics of the area. Since the merger of 14 municipalities to form Joetsu City in January 2005, 上越タイムス社 has been serving the city, as well as issuing "上越タイムス" to Joetsu City and Takada City, which merged in April of the same year, and "糸魚川タイムス" to Itoigawa City, which merged in March.

Adopting the concept of being the "community's cheerleading squad," 上越タイムス社 focuses on supporting and inspiring the local community through their editorial policies. They strive to deliver positive and heartwarming stories, complimented by engaging photographs, to kickstart the day on a refreshing note. By actively sharing bright local news with readers, 上越タイムス社 believes in generating a wave of positivity and vitality within the community.

Additionally, 上越タイムス社 collaborates with NPOs, providing them with dedicated space in the paper to promote civic engagement and bridge the information gap caused by mergers. Through their efforts, 上越タイムス社 plays a crucial role in disseminating accurate information and supporting the community's well-being.
