Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Service is a comprehensive social support agency founded in 1981 with a mission to serve those in crisis and prevent homelessness and hunger. As the largest agency in the region, they offer a wide range of programs and services to individuals, families, and children in St.

Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties. Their services include housing assistance, children and family development, food pantry, street outreach, and adopt-a-family at Christmas. They strive to stabilize individuals and families by providing comprehensive case management and wrap-around services, connecting them with community partners.

The Care Service is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and systemic change, one family at a time. They have a highly trained staff that offers intensive assessments, case management, and advocacy on behalf of families in need. Supported by volunteers and donations, the Care Service assisted over 5,000 individuals in 2018 alone.

Their goal is to empower individuals and families to become self-reliant, productive citizens in their communities
