With a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail, John, also known as JACDUCK, embarked on his decoy carving journey in 1965. Fueled by a desire to own high-quality decoys without breaking the bank, he started carving his own creations from 2" lumber, which later inspired his professional endeavor. Over the years, his skills evolved and he expanded his repertoire to include diverse hunting decoys, primarily made from cork and hollow cedar. Each piece is meticulously hand-carved, resulting in unique body shapes and head positions. The cork decoys are hand-painted with a specialized acrylic paint designed for decoys, while the cedar decoys are adorned with artist oils, creating a patina that ages beautifully over time. Not only are JACDUCKS decoys essential tools for hunters, but they also captivate decorators with their authentic presence. However, JACDUCK emphasizes that his decoys are meant to be in the wild, not merely ornamental. With an extensive customer base spanning 45 states and 3 countries, JACDUCKS has garnered recognition and accolades through participation in contests across the nation. The walls of the paint shack proudly display numerous ribbons as testaments to the quality and excellence of these handcrafted decoys. If you are searching for exceptional hunting companions or unique pieces of art, don't hesitate to contact JACDUCKS today. Experience the beauty and realism that only hand-carved decoys can offer. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Hunting and Shooting _(under Sports)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idmqxdAX_T/w/866/h/300/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1699234965793) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Chelsea Cucumber | #90a74c | accent | | Milano Red | #c00806 | dark | | Old Lace | #fdfbec | light | ## Fonts - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
