## Description

Jacqueline Montemurri is a German science-fiction author and aerospace engineering graduate whose writing brings together scientific ideas, imaginative worlds, and questions about humanity’s future. Her novels, short stories, novellas, and essays explore space travel, technology, climate, society, identity, and what it means to remain human in a changing world. Readers can discover science-fiction and thriller narratives alongside shorter works that develop complex settings and characters in concise form.

Montemurri also writes in a reimagined Karl May universe, where familiar characters embark on adventures in historical settings. These stories feature strong women and emphasize humanity, tolerance, and respect between cultures, with adventures that may include magic. Her website presents her books, editorial contributions, creative work in painting and drawing, and information about readings and events. She also contributes to the magazine SPACE, guiding readers through subjects ranging from the Oort Cloud and distant planets to asteroids and black holes. In the talk Survival Mars, she explores the prospects for human survival on Mars with physician Jannis Radeleff.
