## Description

Jala ASD is an Italian amateur sports association centered on a passion for the sea, combining aquatic sport, wellbeing, social connection and environmental awareness. It operates two locations: one in Aci Trezza, within the Isole Ciclopi Marine Protected Area and facing the Faraglioni and Aci Castello, and another at Hotel Torre Artale in Trabia, near beaches and the sea. Jala offers courses for different experience levels in yoga, scuba diving, freediving and apnea, canoeing, navigation and chartwork, alongside other activities, including Grest programs and environmental education. Its approach brings together physical activity, mindfulness and opportunities to learn and socialize, including a project that combines water activities with yoga. The association also promotes respect for the marine environment through public initiatives and scientific outreach, particularly for young people. Jala is listed among the Ministry of the Environment’s Plastic Free entities and has collaborated with WWF S.U.B., Marevivo and Blue Oceans. It supports fundraising for organizations in need and works to make its sports activities more accessible to people with disabilities.
