## Description

Jala Pelvic Health is a women’s pelvic health practice led by Dr. Dana Podell, a physical therapist and certified yoga therapist based in Evanston, Illinois. Its integrative approach combines physical therapy and yoga therapy to support women experiencing pelvic discomfort and related concerns through different stages of life. Services address period-related and pelvic pain, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum needs, perimenopause and menopause, bladder and bowel health, and pelvic prolapse. The practice also offers one-to-one physical therapy and yoga, yoga classes, prenatal yoga, workshops, yoga nidra meditation, and training and educational resources.

Care begins with a free 30-minute discovery call to discuss symptoms and practical details. An initial whole-women’s wellness assessment explores movement, breathing, stress, and daily life, with personalized guidance and practical tools. Follow-up support is intended to help clients build on progress as their needs change. Jala Pelvic Health serves clients in person at the Heartwood Center in Evanston and online, offering an individualized resource for women seeking help with pelvic health concerns.
