Its subject matter brings together military, institutional, and policy perspectives on the strategic challenges connected with the sea and space.

The listed areas of expertise suggest a focus on informed analysis of defence strategy, the organisations responsible for putting it into practice, and the evolving capabilities and responsibilities of maritime and space forces. The publication may be relevant to readers interested in strategic studies, defence policy, naval affairs, space security, and governance. Its identity is closely tied to Dr. Smith’s research and consultancy work, presenting a specialist perspective on national and defence issues rather than a broad general-interest news service.
