## Description

The Jamie Hulley Arts Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2002 in memory of Jamie Alaine Hulley, whose creativity and love of the arts continue to inspire its work. Based in Orange, Connecticut, the foundation aims to expand artistic opportunities for young artists and early-career professionals, helping them develop their talents and pursue their ambitions.

Its programs span fine arts, theater, dance, music, film, and creative writing. Educational programs bring hands-on visual and performing arts experiences into traditional curricula. Scholarships provide partial or full tuition support for students from elementary school through college. Community Projects and Early Career Awards help fund career-development projects and innovative local arts events, while annual Legacy Awards honor the experiences, places, and people that shaped Jamie’s artistic growth.

The foundation also raises funds through events, including its annual Evening for the Arts gala, and invites community members to donate or volunteer. It reports raising more than $1.4 million for arts education and enriching over 1,000 lives each year.
