## Description

The Jane Austen Society of Brazil (JASBRA) has been celebrating the literary mastery of Jane Austen in Portuguese since its inception in 2008. This vibrant community aims to promote the appreciation of Austen’s works and provides a platform for literary discourse. JASBRA organizes various events, including annual meetings and mini-courses, designed to explore different aspects of Austen's legacy, fostering connection among fans and scholars alike.

Beyond live events, the society engages its audience with digital content such as podcasts, videos, and discussions about Austen-inspired adaptations, including the highly anticipated miniseries "Miss Austen," which reveals the untold story of Cassandra Austen. Furthermore, JASBRA encourages scholarly exploration through special issues of academic journals that focus on Austen's influence in contemporary literature, particularly in the Brazilian context. By bridging the past with the present, JASBRA not only celebrates Austen's enduring relevance but also invites new generations to discover the depth of her narratives.
