Description

The Japanese Cultural Center, Tea House, and Gardens of Saginaw, Inc. Located in Saginaw's Central Park System, their three-acre Tokushima-Saginaw Friendship Garden has delighted visitors for over 50 years. The garden features stunning Japanese rock landscapes, including a picturesque waterfall, a meandering stream flowing under a vibrant vermillion arch bridge, and beautiful stone lanterns.

A highlight of the garden is the rare collection of Tokushima Blue Rocks, known for their unique bluish-green color. Nestled within the garden is the Awa Saginaw An, an authentic sukiya-style Japanese Tea House constructed by skilled artisans using materials imported directly from Japan. Since opening in 1986, the center has been offering tea ceremony demonstrations, garden and teahouse tours, as well as various cultural programs and festivals showcasing Japanese arts.

Whether you're a group or a walk-in visitor, you can partake in the center's daily tours and immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of this beloved landmark. For more information, please visit their website or contact them directly. The Japanese Cultural Center, Tea House, and Gardens of Saginaw warmly welcomes you to experience the authentic beauty of Japanese culture in the heart of Saginaw
